The Terms and Conditions of our services comprise of contractual agreement between My Solia and the customers using the website. It summarises the essential information related to the rights, obligations and personal information; while using the venue. The terms and conditions are pertinent to all services that we offer inclduing the website www.mysolia.so or other platforms such as: mobile apps, email, and newsletter. By using or registering in our services, you are fully agreed to obey the following terms and conditions:
My Solia
www.mysolia.so (My Solia Platform) is a property platform from one person to another where: property owners can publish their “Ads” to sell or rent their “Property” directly to “prospective buyers” without the participation of a Real Estate agent. Users of the website can communicate to each other (to sell, buy, or rent a property), without any interference from our office. Advertisers can rent “Advertisement Spaces” to promote their products or services.
My Solia will only act as the Property Ad Publishing Business and person-to-person connecting platform. We’re not a real estate agency/agent, and will never involve in the actual transactions between the seller and the buyer, and do not act a real estate broker. My Solia is a company operating and registered in Mogadishu, Somalia. Its address is:

Terms of usage
My Solia delivers the following services to its customers:
- Offers digital platform to publish and advertise their properties
- Facilitates direct contact and communication between visitors/users and the property owners
- Provides to the customers spaces for Property Rental Advertisement on their platform
Responsibility
My/Solia’s services is limited to the above-mentioned commission and is not directly acting as a real estate agency or broker between the property sales or rental transactions, which is only between the owner/landlord and the buyer/tenant, outside of this platform. The purchase or rental cannot be carried out on our platform and is subject to the contract’s terms and conditions discussed between the Owner/Landlord and Buyer/Tenant.
Intellectual Property
All names, logos, illustrations, pictures, images, videos, sounds, and any other graphic material is owned by My/Solia and it has the right to protect it from using by other individuals. Users may download material from our platform for the intention of using the platform reasonably and safely. Otherwise, they may not try to hack, copy, reproduce, modify, transmit, represent, republish, store, send or extract in whole or in part of the contents in this platform without the permission and consent from our office. You are hereby agreeing that all images uploaded to our platform including your Profile picture and property related images can be used by Solia for marketing and promotional purposes through emails, newsletters, as well as on our social media platform – Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and so on.
By using our services such as registering to our platform, publishing your Ads or contacting other users, the visitor/user agree to follow all the terms and conditions set forth in this document. If these conditions are not respected, we have the right to delete the account or remove Ads at any time and without prior notice. We also have the right to retain, as payment, the full amount paid for the package with the option to take further legal action as required by the law. The platform and any other services related to it are only reserved for individual or a property owner firms only. Real Estate Agents are not allowed to use this platform to post Property Ads. They are allowed to contact owners if they desire, and the owners agree with them. Similarly, the owner declares not to be, nor to act directly or indirectly on behalf of a Real Estate Agent/Agency.
Registration
- Owners or Users above the age of 18 or older can register with Solia.
- They can register in our services, if and only if, they accept our Terms and Conditions.
- Agents or people serving to an Agency, cannot register with our service.
By registering with Solia, the applicant admits that all information provided is accurate, complete, up to date, and does not contain mistakes, omissions, misleading or dishonest information. Solia has the right to delete any fake account that may cause harm to our business. Each account can be used only by one individual, any duplicate account may be removed without the knowledge and notice to the user, but the old account will remain effective. Registered customers are not allowed to give their personal access data such as Username and Password to a third party, to prevent illegal access to their Accounts.
Publishing Ads
Real Estate Agents or Agencies are allowed to post property Ads on My Solia Platform. They may contact the owners if they let them do it. We reserve the right to delete an account or remove any Ad posted by an Agent or Agency at any time and without prior notice.
Posting Ads
Ads are only allowed in accordance with the platform rules and regulations. My Solia can reject any Ad that is not accommodating to the following requirements:
- Ads must be presented in proper language; avoiding any spelling and grammatical mistakes.
- All information; both text and images must be related to the actual property; not personal opinions, spam, insults, racism, discrimination, harassment, defamation, pornography, child abuse, political propaganda, and any other hateful messages whatsoever.
- The property in the Advertisement cannot be substituted with another property that is different. However, changes can be made on the descriptions, prices, images, contact information on the current one.
- Images must be of good quality and with respect to the terms and conditions of the contract. The images must relate to the property concerned and not represent people or friends’ images. Photos from magazines, postcards or other commercial brochures will not serve for the image substitution.
Editing Ads
The owner can change and edit any information related to the images of their properties, while respecting the terms and conditions but without misleading information such as: abusive behaviour, details of the property, images, prices etc.
Approval of Ads
Any Advert submitted will be authenticated by our advertisement department before approval and publishing. Therefore, any adverts that do not comply with our terms and conditions will be removed without any further explanation.
Packages and Payments
If you wish to post an Ad in our platform, you are required to subscribe to our services – whether paid or free. You will pay the full amount in advance by using one of the secured payment methods offered. Our prices can be changed at any time and renewed upon expiry. Your advertisements will be visible immediately after your payment has been confirmed and your ad approved by our Marketing Department.
Cancellation and Refund
Cancelling your subscription will not guarantee any refund money, unless there is prove of technical issues from our side. Once your payment is received, it will not be refunded if you decide to delete or unpublished your Advertisement. However, there are certain exceptional situations on different cases.
Applicable Law and jurisdictions
Our Terms and Conditions are subject to the Business Law of the country. In case of dispute to our Terms and Conditions that cannot be mutually resolved between Solia and the subscriber, the case will be taken to the courts, if agreed by both parties.

All the information on our platform is published with respect to good faith and is subject to change without any further notice. It should not be relied upon as an alternative for legal, financial, real estate or other expert advice.
